For this project, this L6 was fitted to the already-modified chassis of a restored 1941 Chevy convertible. The restored and modified car had the style that the customer wanted, but he desired something a little less mainstream for the engine. So, the stovebolt in-line 6 was replaced by this Falconer L6 creating another truly one of a kind package. The engine features many custom parts: polished stainless steel water tubes, custom 8mm and serpentine belt accessory drives, a beautiful finned top cover, CNC-machined and polished and of course, special painting to match the car's pinstriping. A special Barnes 7-stage dry-sump oil pump and Drake water pump were used to keep the installation compact. The L6 uses a standard Small Block Chevy bellhousing and custom-made front mounts.
