This engine was a very special project for a high-tech street rod. The customer required the entire engine and 4L80E transmission to be polished. Prep work for the polishing took a few weeks to complete, then all components were handed off to expert metal polisher Gary Wallace. All wiring is hidden from view with just two quick-disconnect cannon plugs located at the back of the transmission's oil pan for attaching the wire harness. Special fuel lines, a dedicated faux fuel rail to house the injector wires and a custom hidden alternator are just a few of the unique parts built specifically for this engine. The oil pan, torque converter cover and transmission oil pan were made of billet aluminum to give the finished look of one massive piece.
